Registration on this website
You can register on our website to use additional features on the site. The data input will only be used for the purposes of using the site or service for which you have registered. Booking an accommodation
In order to make your hotel reservation, we collect the data necessary for booking. These are the name of the customer, the traveller(s), telephone and fax number, e-mail address, address and credit card number if applicable, as well as arrival and departure dates, the chosen hotel, room categories, cancellation conditions and the IP address.
The collection and processing serve exclusively for the fulfilment of the contract. The data will also be passed on to reservation systems, which may be operated outside the EU, regardless of the hotel’s location.
If you make payments to ehotel AG via PayPal or credit card, the data will be transmitted to our payment service provider.
Messages from hotels in connection with your reservation will be forwarded to you – partly automatically – before your arrival.
E-mail enqueries
Questions to us regarding existing bookings or general enquiries will be briefly archived after completion and deleted after 60 days, unless further storage is required by law.

Queries by phone
When you call our service team, the call can be monitored or recorded for training or quality management purposes. Recorded calls are stored for a limited time and automatically deleted unless we have a legitimate interest in keeping such records for a longer period, e.g. to detect fraudulent activities or for legal purposes.
Archiving
Within the framework of legal regulations, we are required to document and archive business processes (accounting / Commercial Code). Data that does not fall under this archiving obligation is regularly deleted; e.g. credit card data after the booked departure date.
External service providers
We may use external service providers to provide services and to process your personal data on our behalf. These third party service providers are subject to order processing agreements and may only process your personal data for the purposes specified above.

Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address, as well as information which allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive this newsletter. No additional data is collected or will only be collected on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 para 1 lit. a) of the GDPR. You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and e-mail address, as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time by using the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.
The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until such time as you cancel your subscription, when said data will be deleted. Data we have stored for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the members area) remains unaffected.

Please note that these pages are accessed by web servers which are not under our control.
