The online sector remains a growth market, but in order to hold their own against the competition in times of general consumer reluctance, online providers must offer their customers significant added value. For travellers and hotel guests in particular, clear user interfaces, straightforward booking processes and attractive offers are crucial for a good service experience. In the latest “Online Retail 2023” survey, the analysis firm ServiceValue, in cooperation with the daily newspaper DIE WELT, has now awarded ehotel® the “No. 1 in Customer Satisfaction” accolade in the hotel booking portal sector. Berlin-based ehotel AG is a pioneer among booking platforms and has been supporting its customers since 2000 with comprehensive solutions for hotel bookings and the associated processing, particularly in the business customer sector. In doing so, ehotel® aggregates global offers on a single platform using meta-search technology and integrates services as well as payment and expense processes into customers’ existing systems to optimise the entire process for them, from booking through compliance to settlement.

In collaboration with the daily newspaper DIE WELT, the experienced analysis firm ServiceValue investigated which online providers were able to particularly satisfy their customers with their purchasing, booking and billing processes. For the “Online Retail 2023” study, around 370,000 consumers were surveyed about their user experiences with 1,872 providers across 108 sectors, and the results were independently evaluated. Customers spoke so positively about their experiences with ehotel AG’s service, booking and billing systems that the digital booking platform has now received the “No. 1 in Customer Satisfaction” award in the hotel booking portal sector.
