Are rates listed per person or per room?
All quoted rates are per room per night. Usually in local currency - in some countries rates are indicated in USD or EUR (e.g. Hungary, Czech Republic, Asia)
Are taxes and service charges included in rates?
The room rates are displayed including VAT/GST, service charges and additional charges. For some countries the rates are calculated based on the available information at time of booking and may be different from the final invoice issued by the hotel.
What costs or fees will be charged by ehotel AG for the service of reservation?
The service of ehotel AG is free of charge for clients!
Do rates include breakfast or other meals?
Not all hotels have breakfast included in their rates. Please check for each individual hotel. If breakfast is not included in the rate it will be charged only if consumed.
How may I cancel or modify my reservation?
You may cancel your reservation online on the original website or contacting our Call Center by phone or email please keep in mind our business hours.For short notice cancellations you may cancel directly with the hotel. Please make sure to receive a cancellation number and take notice of date/time of cancellation and the person you spoke with.Please keep us updated afterwards about your changes of travel plans.
May I cancel without any penalties?
The valid cancellation policies for the selected hotel and arrival date can be checked by clicking Usually you may cancel your reservation until 48 hours before arrival. During exhibitions, events or at resorts different cancellation policies may apply.Some special rates may not be cancelled free of charge and are non refundable; this special conditions will be mentioned during the reservation process.Please keep in mind that reservations made at the day of arrival may often not be cancelled free of charge!
Are Maestro Cards accepted?
No. To process the reservation our hotels do need a valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners, JBC, Discover). Maestro Cards may be used to pay at the hotel.
When do you charge my credit card?
Depending on the selected room / rate your credit card will be used by the hotel as guarantee only or charged by the hotel with a deposit or the provider will charge the full room rate after booking. The guarantee or payment method will be displayed during the booking process.
May I book triple rooms?
At this time triple rooms cannot be booked online. Availability and conditions need to be checked by our agents directly with the hotel to accommodate 3 (or more) persons in one room.Please also advise if the 3rd person is an adult or child, as special reductions may be applicable for children.
Are my personal data accessible by unauthorized persons?
All your personal data is transmitted encrypted using latest technology.
May I rebook or amend my reservation online?
No. This function is not yet implemented. You may place a new reservation and cancel the original booking or contact our Call Center.
May I book more than 1 room at a time?
Yes, you may book up to 3 single rooms or double rooms at the same rate for the same arrival / departure dates. Should you need more than 3 rooms, please contact our Service Center (firstname.lastname@example.org)
When may I use my hotel room?
Most hotels will assign your room in the afternoon (14:00 / 15:00). On the departure day you will be asked to leave your room in the morning (10:00 / 11:00). Most hotels will have a room available for early arrivals. To guarantee early check-in or late check-out hotels may ask for an extra charge.
You arrive after midnight?
To have your room available upon arrival you need to book the arrival for the previous day. Please take notice of the operation hours of the reception.
How do hotel categories differ and who does the rating?
ehotel rates accomodations (hotels, inns, hostels, motels,…) with a indiviual ehotel rating system which is used worldwide - the “ehotel-stars” in a range of one to five stars. The following criteria are used for the rating:
* Budget: Basic facilities in the room, limited service options, quite frequently with shared bathroom and dormatories.
** Standard / Tourist: Functional facilities in the room, however some comforts (e.g. TV, phone, private bathroom)
*** Comfort: Standardized furnishing and facilities with a comfortable atmosphere. Good selection of service options.
**** Business / First Class: Premium and contemporary furnishing and facilities with a comfortable atmosphere. Upscale service options.
***** Deluxe: Exclusive and luxurious furnished rooms. High quality materials are used in all hotel outlets. Wide range of services on a high level are offered.
