Berlin, 8 October 20256: ehotel’s mobile app has been awarded the DtGV App Award 2025 in the hotel booking category. In the ranking compiled by the German Society for Consumer Studies (DtGV), the ehotel® app is thus among the top apps of 2025 in the travel and tourism sector.
The award is based on an extensive user survey.
The DtGV App Award is based on an independent online survey of Android and iOS users. In total, around 150,000 reviews of just under 900 apps from around 100 sectors were included in the evaluation. User satisfaction was measured on a scale of 1 (very low satisfaction) to 10 (very high satisfaction). To ensure reliable comparability, only apps with a sufficient number of reviews were taken into account.
In the hotel booking segment, the ehotel® app has achieved an app satisfaction score of 7.21 points, making it one of the highest-rated apps in this category.
Added value for business travellers and travel managers
Mobile apps play a key role, particularly in the business travel market. They enable quick hotel bookings, direct access to booking details and last-minute changes, whether you’re on the move or outside normal office hours. High user satisfaction is an important indicator of reliability and practicality, particularly when it comes to time-sensitive bookings and changing travel plans.
